2023 Survey Results of the “American Portrait”
Initiated in 2021 by the Institute of European and American Studies (IEAS), Academia Sinica, "American Portrait" is a Taiwan-based survey that investigates the public's perception of the United States and China and evaluates the development of U.S.-Taiwan-China Relations. The first wave of the survey was conducted in 2021, and three waves of data have been accumulated so far. Survey questions include Taiwanese people's credit assessment of the United States and China and their support for Taiwan and the United States' foreign policies. Through the comparison of three waves of data and the design of new question sets, the research team has put forward new insights into the relationship between the United States,Taiwan and China.
